OpportunityAre you a seasoned IT professional with a passion for solving complex problems and optimizing systems? Kem Krest is seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead technical support efforts, drive innovation, and ensure the performance and security of our IT infrastructure. If you re ready to take ownership and make a meaningful impact, this role is for you.
Schedule & Work EnvironmentThis is a full-time, onsite position requiring a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates should be prepared to work on location daily and collaborate closely with team members to support ongoing IT operations and organizational needs.
Responsibilities- Advanced Technical Support:
Resolve complex IT incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and mentor junior team members. - System & Network Administration:
Independently manage desktop systems, user accounts, updates, and patches. - Cybersecurity & Compliance:
Enforce security policies and escalate issues as needed. - Performance Optimization:
Monitor system performance, generate benchmarks, and troubleshoot bottlenecks. - Vendor & Asset Management:
Coordinate with third-party providers and maintain hardware/software inventories. - Project
Collaboration:
Support IT projects, contribute to lessons learned, and apply insights to future initiatives. - Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Research new technologies, experiment in sandbox environments, and propose enhancements.
- Experience:
5+ years in IT support or system administration. - Education:
High School Diploma with on-the-job training or equivalent experience. - Skills:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, ticketing systems, desktop OS, and infrastructure management. - Mindset:
Analytical, proactive, and collaborative with a drive for continuous improvement.
