$45,000.00 / yr – $50,000.00 / yr
Responsibilities- Set, organize, and lead youth mental health update meetings and systems working closely with site supervisors.
- Ensure trauma-informed strategies are used by team members with guidance and discipline for all ages throughout Club program hours.
- Provide leadership, training, and administration for documenting and following up on youth behaviors through Individual Membership Reports.
- Provide families with local community resources based on need.
- Send mental health referrals to local agencies based on need for Club members and their families.
- Develop, communicate, and execute all Individual Club plans with Club leadership to include mental health needs.
- Schedule, prepare, and lead parent/member meetings to re-enter program following temporary suspension. Develop, document, and communicate re-entry plans with other team members with the support of Club leadership.
- Serve as contact with community schools, Juvenile Detention Center, Bashor Children’s Home, and other community service partners in regard to member behavior and referrals.
- Supervise social work interns.
- Supervise Ameri Corps Members.
- Set, organize, and lead social emotional learning & mental health programs.
- Provide one-on-one social emotional support as needed and when able.
- Oversee sensory room operations and usage.
- Assist with program areas, events, and field trips as needs arise.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work and/or equivalent certification required; MSW preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a role supervising staff and school-aged children in a group setting.
- Experience working with adjudicated, high-need and special needs youth.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with youth, team members, parents, school personnel, and community mental health providers.
- Team player with high energy and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using a variety of computer software applications, specifically Microsoft Office suite.
- Reliable transportation, safe driving record, active driver’s license, and automobile insurance.
- Position may require standing/sitting for extended periods of time, reaching overhead and horizontally, bending at the waist, and ability to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 20 lbs.
