• Healthcare Setting: Flexible Acuity Unit (Cardiac Stepdown)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Start Date: February 16, 2026
• End Date: April 20, 2026
• Contract Duration: 9 weeks
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: 1 holiday per 13-week contract
• Floating: May float to Med-Surg Level or affiliate hospitals based on census
• Charting System: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Indiana or compact state (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Stepdown or acute care RN experience
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates)
• Professional conduct, reliability, and strong clinical skills

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Cardiac Stepdown/telemetry setting
• Monitor and manage cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmias, and rapid response/code situations
• Administer medications, manage IVs, central lines, PICC lines, and blood products
• Provide care for patients with infectious diseases, pulmonary conditions, and acute withdrawal
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment:
  BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and negative pressure rooms
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services
• Document patient care using Cerner electronic health record system
• Maintain strict adherence to isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Float to other nursing units as needed and participate in holiday and weekend coverage
