We are seeking a Product Design Engineer to support the design, development, and improvement of mechanical components and assemblies. This role will be responsible for creating functional, manufacturable, and cost-effective designs while collaborating with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and engineering. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical design skills and experience working in a production-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD software
  • Create detailed engineering drawings, models, and bills of materials (BOMs)
  • Support new product development from concept through production release
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, assembly, and cost efficiency
  • Design and support structural components, brackets, mounting systems, and mechanical assemblies
  • Assist with prototype development, testing, and implementation into production
  • Troubleshoot design and production issues and implement engineering solutions
  • Support engineering change requests and maintain design documentation
  • Participate in continuous improvement and product enhancement initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Required)
  • Experience with CAD software such as Solid Works, Inventor, Creo, or similar
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles
  • Ability to read and create engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with sheet metal, structural components, or welded assemblies
  • Knowledge of fabrication and assembly processes
  • Experience supporting production and engineering teams
