Senior Accountant

Location: Elkhart, Indiana
Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000
Schedule: Full-Time | Fully Onsite

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our accounting team in Elkhart, Indiana. This fully onsite role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional who is eager to grow technical skills in costing, financial reporting, and analysis while gaining hands-on exposure in a collaborative environment.

• Perform cost accounting activities, including tracking, analysis, and reporting of manufacturing or operational costs.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Conduct margin analysis and variance reporting, identifying trends and providing insights to management.

• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes through financial analysis and data preparation.

• Collaborate with operations and management to understand cost drivers and improve financial performance.

• Maintain accurate financial records and support continuous process improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

• 0–3 years of accounting experience; internships or co-op experience welcomed.

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Exposure to or interest in cost accounting, margin analysis, and variance reporting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with formulas, lookups, and data analysis preferred.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work effectively in a fully onsite, team-based environment.
