Erosion Works is an established erosion control company, in business since 2008. We primarily serve home and commercial builders around the Twin City area and work on some highway projects. We are seeking well-rounded individuals to join our team. No experience in erosion control? No problem, we offer on-the-job training. We are looking for candidates who want to grow with our company and start a career in the erosion industry.

We are growing and in need of a certified diesel mechanic with small engines knowledge. This is a full-time position with hours of 40 to 50 hours a week. We need someone who is a self-starter and ready to come in and diagnose any issues, order parts, and fix the issues  trucks have Cummins CAT and Paccar engines, our tractors are John Deere, and our track loaders are CAT.

We have numerous trucks, trailers, tractors, and skid loaders with many other attachments and small engines. Some of your daily responsibilities would include preventive maintenance on all the equipment we have, repairing most issues that arise and keeping the shop clean and organized. Pay will depend on experience!

Job Requirements:

-You will need to have your own tools,

-3-5 years’ experience is preferred,

-clean driving record, and

-Class A or B is a plus.

-Welding, torching, and plasma cutting experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift 50 lbs. following appropriate safety procedures
- Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time

-Work in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain);
- Walk and climb stairs; handle, finger, grasp, and feel objects and equipment;
- Reach with hands and arms; communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information through spoken and written words;
- Repeat various motions with wrists, hands, and fingers;
- Detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms.
