Qualifications:

1. Basic mechanical skills.
2. Able to read, write and do basic math.
3. Able to stand, kneel, crawl to clean equipment.
4. Able to work independently and as a team.
5. Able to follow specific written procedures and forms.
6. Food production cleaning experience preferred.
7. Excellent attention to detail.
8. Good verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work overtime as needed.
10. Ability to work holidays, weekends, or different shifts as needed.
11. Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
12. Ability to perform physical job duties including stand, kneel, crawl, bend, reach, twist, push, pull and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
13. Ability to work under special work conditions such as extreme heat or cold.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Reporting directly to the Sanitation Supervisor.
2. Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of all equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and clean work environment as well as the safety and quality of our products.
3. Responsible for following procedures and coordinating with Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure sanitation standards are met based on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
4. Required to disassemble, clean, and sanitize production and processing equipment. As well as clean and sanitize floor surfaces, offices and employee welfare areas ensuring they are maintained in clean and good working condition, refilling of sanitary products and soap in the washrooms and boot baths.
5. Use approved chemicals to clean and disinfect equipment and surfaces.
6. Clean and sanitize production and processing rooms.
7. Change out chemicals in boot baths, restock soap, sanitizer, and personal protective equipment (PPE) in the designated areas.
8. Maintain supply of production gloves, hairnets, and earplugs in the appropriate areas/holders throughout the plant.
9. Remove garbage from each production area throughout the day and garbage from Employee Cafeteria areas daily (all by end of shift). 10. Coordinate a monthly refrigerator clean out. 11. Maintain state of clean floors throughout the day so floors are generally free of production waste and any dirt that is tracked in. 12. Complete scheduled sanitation tasks and monitor hours required for completion of job assignments and quality of work.

13. Accurately complete all applicable documentation such as cleaning & sanitizing records and logs. 14. Maintain order in the sanitation areas - equipment is placed in the proper areas when not in use. 15. Responsible for following a Master Sanitation Schedule of items that require daily and periodic attention. 16. Assure all sanitation work is properly completed in a timely fashion for production to commence/resume operations.

17. Inspect cleanliness of surfaces and take adequate corrective actions as needed. 18. Inspect equipment before and after sanitation to assure that equipment is in proper working condition. 19. Communicate any equipment needs to Production Manager. 20. Monitor cleaning chemical inventory and coordinate purchasing requirements with procurement. 21. Adhere to all occupational health and safety regulations and Company policies. 22.

Other duties as assigned. 23. Regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. 24. The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization. 25. Maintain staging area to be in good clean sanitary state at all times.
