Position: School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) |

A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized speech and language services at an elementary school located in Elk River, MN. This leave position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students with diverse communication needs during the 2026 spring semester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing speech, language, and communicative disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with school and district policies.
  • Provide consultative services and facilitate communication strategies within the classroom environment.
Qualifications And Desired Experience
  • Valid Minnesota state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working as an SLP in a school setting with elementary-aged children.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 55-60 students effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and educators.
  • Familiarity with educational speech therapy practices and documentation requirements.
