Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Educational Speech Language Pathologist, located in Elk River, MN. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, communication, and language disorders to support their ability to thrive academically and socially. Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), working collaboratively with families and school staff, and monitoring progress to ensure effective interventions.

The role requires compliance with state and district guidelines and active participation in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Speech Therapy and addressing communication disorders
  • Knowledge and experience with Speech-related challenges, including Dysphagia
  • Expertise in diagnosing and treating Language and Communication Disorders
  • Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Possession of relevant state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
  • Demonstrated understanding of IEP processes and educational settings
