Pay varies by position and is based on multiple factors including labor market data and, depending on position, may include education, work experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, and/or certifications. Additionally, Sportech takes into account the internal equity of current employees when considering compensation. Sportech’s reasonable and good-faith estimate for the range of new hire compensation at the time of posting for this position is between $66,000 - $76,000 annually.

Pay may also include variable compensation from time to time such as overtime for non-exempt positions, shift differential for specific shifts, and/or bonus targets (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Job Summary

This position is a key supporting resource for facilitating and executing effective product launch and ensuring first production runs are executed efficiently and on time. The Sourcing Analyst position supports a cross-functional team to clarify needs, communicate supplier commitments, generate and manage purchase orders for new product launches, and manage ongoing supplier interactions.

Essential Job Functions
  • Identify supply sources for new products and purchase the required materials to support new product launch efforts
  • Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations in launching of new products to meet introduction timelines, cost and quality goals
  • Assist in the process of obtaining quotes from potential vendors
  • Support efforts to identify and evaluate new suppliers which meet the business requirements
  • Work with suppliers to ensure that accurate product information is being communicated on orders including pricing, availability, part numbers and delivery
  • Expedite and assist with the troubleshooting of orders as needed
  • Understand and communicate specifications, as well as design changes and revisions, to suppliers
  • Monitor supplier performance and communicate performance results
  • Participate in and support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency, reduce costs and achieve company goals
  • Create and analyze reports outlining department and supplier performance or in support of opportunity identification more broadly
  • Data entry as required
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in supply chain role
  • Strong organization skills to effectively manage timelines, customer requirements and workflow requirements and priorities
  • Ability to perform effectively and independently, as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively cross-functionally
  • High ethical standards
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects
  • Power
