At Cattlemens, we’ve been serving hand-cut, Harris Ranch Beef for over 55 years — and we take pride in keeping the art of butchery alive. As a Butcher / Meat Cutter, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every steak we serve meets our exacting standards for quality, consistency, and presentation.
What You’ll Do- Receive, inspect, and manage bulk meat and other center-of-the-plate inventory.
- Cut and portion steaks and proteins to precise Cattlemens specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate daily pars and ensure proper product rotation and storage.
- Monitor inventory to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
- Keep all prep and storage areas clean, safe, and sanitary in compliance with food safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure product readiness for service.
- Prior meat cutting, butchery, or prep experience preferred.
- Strong knife skills and understanding of portioning and yield control.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Reliable, organized, and safety-minded work ethic.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy product in a refrigerated environment.
