Maintenance Mechanic

• Interfaces with production supervision to effect safe repairs to equipment and ensures that equipment is returned to operations in an acceptable condition.
• Performs regularly scheduled preventive maintenance and monthly safety checks.
• Makes repairs and modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the work order system.
• Responsible for completing all paperwork assigned and coordinating with the Reliability Supervisor to ensure data is correct and recorded.
• Other duties as assigned.

• At least one year of successful mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing facility.
• On-the-job success in safety, attendance and quality of work expected.
• Maintenance experience in corrugated is a plus. Strong knowledge of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics.
• Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem solving skills.
• Willingness to fully cross train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities.
• Willing and able to work second and third shifts, call-ins, holidays, and overtime as there is a constant demand for overtime in our maintenance department.
• Able to work with computer system for maintenance processes, stores and work orders.
