Our client is currently seeking an IT Project Manager
Full Time Direct Hire
Hybrid 3 days a week in Elk Grove, California
As a Project Manager, you will lead and manage multiple small to medium-sized projects from initiation to completion. You will develop project plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with leadership to resolve issues and ensure successful delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, cross‑functional coordination, and the ability to adapt plans to meet objectives.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.
- Define project goals, scope, success metrics, and deliverables in collaboration with leadership and stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively across teams, leadership, and external partners to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (engineering, product, design, operations, support) to drive collaboration and readiness.
- Track progress, identify risks or blockers early, and adjust plans to maintain timelines and scope.
- Lead resolution of complex issues and implement mitigation strategies for identified risks.
- Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and support smooth handoffs for customer releases.
- Maintain organized project documentation, including plans, decisions, reports, and lessons learned.
- Own project metrics and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of project management experience in Software Engineering, IT Systems, or related fields.
- Proven ability to deliver results on large‑scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and timelines.
- PMP or PMI‑ACP certification.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Self‑motivated and proactive with strong creative and critical thinking skills.
Salary: $90k-$110k + Bonus
