Recess Coach

Who we ARE:

Seeking dynamic and energetic individuals to join our team as a Recess Lead Coach ! In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the recess experience for students by promoting positive social interactions, organizing engaging activities, and fostering a healthy and inclusive play environment.

Hours:

_4 hour shifts during Recess time (between 9:00am - 2:30pm)_

What WE'RE looking for:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Previous experience working with children (a plus)
A background in sports or fitness (a plus)
Motivation to grow and develop within a role

Responsibilities:

Implement creative and age-appropriate recess activities to promote character development, physical fitness, and nutrition
Lead large groups of students in activities, ensuring they understand the curriculum
Be a role model, guiding students to develop positive social behaviors and communication skills
Maintain control of assigned groups, ensuring safety during outdoor play and addressing safety concerns promptly
Collaborate with fellow coaches and school leadership to follow protocols and ensure smooth transitions during activities
Organize and maintain equipment for recess activities, ensuring a clean and orderly play area
Work across multiple schools in the assigned region, inspiring a broad range of students

What we REQUIRE:

Be at least 18 years old
Ability to pass Live Scan background check
Must clear TB test

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
