OverviewSutter Amador presents a rural 53‑bed hospital site for a primarily OB‑focused or combination OB/FAM role serving an underserved Sierra Foothills community. The practice offers excellent labor and delivery nursing, collaborative care, and opportunities to grow gynecologic surgery and residency teaching.
Responsibilities• Provide comprehensive obstetric care, including labor and delivery, prenatal and post‑partum services.
• Deliver Family Medicine services such as general adult care, pediatrics, and preventive care in a 15–25 delivery month practice.
• Participate in graduate medical education with OB/GYN and FM residents.
• Perform robotic‑assisted gynecologic surgery as needed.
• Maintain clinical skills with monthly rotation at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento (1–2 days).
• Call schedule: 10 total call days/month (weekday: Tuesday–Thursday, two weeks/month; weekend: Friday–Monday, one weekend/month).
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Obstetrics‑Gynecology or Family Medicine with obstetric qualification.
• Clinical experience in a rural or community hospital setting preferred.
