Overview
Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a BE/BC Obstetrician-Gynecologist OR a Family Medicine Obstetrician to join our team in beautiful Jackson, CA. This is a primarily OB-focused role serving an underserved patient population at a 53-bed rural hospital with minimal subspecialty support. The practice averages 20-25 deliveries per month with low acuity and a strong collaborative team environment. Physicians have access to robotic-assisted surgery and opportunities to participate in graduate medical education teaching with OB/GYN and FM residents in a rural residency track.
Qualifications- Board certified/Board eligible
- Weekday call:
Tuesday-Thursday, two weeks per month (6 weekdays total) - Weekend call:
Friday-Monday, one weekend per month (4 weekend days total)
This equates to 10 total call days per month, reflecting a 1:3 call ratio. Physicians are also expected to rotate at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento 1-2 days per month to maintain clinical skills.
