Position: Monday Optometrist - Elk Grove, CA

We are seeking an experienced and state-licensed Optometrist to work on Mondays. This OD should be tech-savvy and people-focused, dedicated to advancing comprehensive eye care within the healthcare system. The role offers mentorship opportunities with leaders in the optometric field.

This opportunity is located in Elk Grove, CA. If relocating, the Sacramento area offers favorable weather and affordability, and is within easy reach of Tahoe, the Bay Area, and Wine Country.

Visionworks Doctors of Optometry offers the benefits of being a Doctor without the hassle of running a practice. Visionworks handles insurance billing, credentialing, staff hiring & training, and administrative work. Our primary care practices provide comprehensive eye care including routine exams, contact lens evaluations, and medical treatment for eye diseases. Offices feature state-of-the-art equipment such as Optos California, Topcon digital phoropters, Eyefinity EMR (on an iPad), and Henson 9000 Visual Field Analyzer.

OD techs assist with patient workups and contact lens teaching.

As part of Visionworks "#Oneteam", you'll practice full-time (or part-time) providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and with various visual and medical conditions. You'll perform patient examinations, recommend vision solutions based on findings, handle eye emergencies, and collaborate with staff to improve access to healthcare.
