Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and processing all outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. This position plays a key role in coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documentation, allocating inventory, and supporting customer service to ensure a smooth logistics operation.

Responsibilities
  • Process and coordinate all outgoing shipments from the facility.
  • Generate and verify shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, labels, and customs paperwork.
  • Prepare and complete any special customer requirements such as Certificates of Analysis (COA), Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN), and shipment seals.
  • Schedule carrier pickups through online portals, phone, and email communication.
  • Physically inspect shipments to verify accuracy and ensure paperwork matches the freight.
  • Manage inventory allocation by Lot Number, ensuring the oldest lots are shipped first.
  • Review and compare picklists against actual freight to ensure shipment accuracy.
  • Collaborate with customer service and other departments as needed to resolve logistics or order-related issues.
  • Responsible for emailing shipping paperwork including COA’s to customers.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory allocation within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience generating Bills of Lading, packing lists, and using online carrier platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Shipping terms (Delivered, Prepay & Charge, Shipping Point)
    • Bills of Lading and freight classifications
    • LTL and Truckload shipment processes
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot logistics issues independently.
Schedule

1st Shift 8:00 am-4:00 pm M-F

Pay

This position has a range of $25.00-$27.50 per hour. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location

Bonus Pay

Meridian is actively participating in a productivity incentive plan for 2025. Eligible employees have the opportunity to earn up to $1,520 a year, with payments distributed quarterly throughout the year.
