We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Elk Grove Village. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead our Quality Assurance and Sanitation functions, ensuring that all products meet strict regulatory standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee food safety, quality, and sanitation performance within the facility.
Develop and implement food safety and regulatory programs, including the internal recall program.
Serve as the primary contact for food safety and quality with regulatory officials and customers.
Guide the facility through customer and regulatory audits, ensuring compliance and managing corrective actions.
Act as the HACCP Coordinator, maintaining and reassessing HACCP and PC Plans as necessary.
Train and develop QA and sanitation staff to ensure compliance with testing standards.
Prepare and manage the annual QA and Sanitation budget, setting aggressive targets.
Conduct facility audits and report opportunities for quality improvement.
Collaborate with customers and suppliers to address performance issues and long-term planning.
Implement continuous quality improvement tools and training across the organization.
Create comprehensive KPI reports in line with internal and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
Minimum of 10+ years of Quality Assurance experience in food manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a management role.
Extensive experience with USDA and FDA regulations, as well as HACCP, Preventive Controls, and SSOPs.
GFSI certification experience is highly desirable.
Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex situations and drive results.
Proficiency in advanced computer skills and the ability to work in an ambiguous environment.
Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus.
