Yamazen Inc. is an importer and distributor of quality CNC manufacturing machinery, including machine tools and injection molding machines. We service manufacturers in the automotive, aerospace, construction equipment, medical, and I.T. industries. We have offices serving markets throughout the country and have experienced significant growth through territory and market expansion. We are expanding our automation division to better serve our customers.

We are seeking an Automation Service Technician who is capable of installing automated cells and providing field service support on robots and components of automated cells. The candidate should be experienced in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems. The successful candidate will work at our state-of-the-art technical facility at our new NA Headquarters in Elk Grove, IL, which includes office, conference, high-tech showroom, and integration areas.

You will be working with Nachi Robotics and installing automation cells on products from Brother Industries, Takisawa Machine Tools, and Matsuura Machine Tools.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read part diagrams and schematics
• Experience installing CNC machine tools or robotic cells
• Robot programming skills are a plus
• Experience with machine tool integration and robotic systems
• Strong organization and prioritization skills
• Excellent work ethic and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel out of state for business

The salary range is $30.00 - $40.00 per hour.
