We’re currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. The Human Resources Manager works closely with senior leadership to drive business performance through effective people management, organizational development, talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the division’s human resources and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Ensure performance evaluations are completed timely and provide constructive feedback when needed.
  • In conjunction with Corporate Recruiter, recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Onboard all new hires to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to leadership.
  • Open Enrollment for the division including meetings, assisting employees with questions, etc.
  • Collaborate with VP HR regarding competitive salaries to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, investigations and terminations. Includes coaching supervisors/managers on the process of handling progressive discipline. Consult with VP of HR on outcomes and next steps.
  • Organize company events to foster employee engagement and morale.
  • Training – responsible for grants and other training programs – ensure all trainings are set up and attended.
  • Update HR system (Paylocity) as required.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Performs other projects and responsibilities as assigned by General Manager or VP of HR.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Works well as a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task while prioritizing.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of human resources experience with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of payroll/HRIS systems, Paylocity, ADP or similar systems.

This position is at our Elk Grove Village, IL location.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $95,000
