Senior Financial Accountant

Compensation range: $110,000-$120,000 salary range plus bonus and equity through our MyShare program.

• Own the month-end and year end process from start to finish, closing financial reporting within five days;
• Perform monthly account reconciliations for the balance sheet;
• Prepare the monthly financial reporting package and associated financial schedules;
• Assist with carbon and environmental reporting requirements;
• Assist with the external auditors and their requests;
• Perform variance analysis and seek explanations;
• Lead investigations to identify root cause to issues and recommend counter measures;
• Lead and co-lead projects to enhance internal controls and processes;
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasts;
• Assist in coaching and developing team members;
• Preparation of ad-hoc reports and analysis for management;
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting & Economics;
• CPA highly desirable but not essential;
• 3+ years of work experience in accounting roles preferably in logistics;
• Must have a continuous improvement mindset;
• Use of Great Plains is a plus;
• One Stream experience is a plus;
