Senior Accounting Manager (Privately Held / International Manufacturing)

About the Opportunity

Premier, privately-held leader in the manufacturing and distribution space. Known for their global footprint and complex operational structure, looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to serve as a technical anchor for their global teams.

This is not a "maintenance" role. You will be joining a fast-paced, multi-entity environment where you will play a lead role in bridging the gap between domestic operations and international subsidiaries.

Core Responsibilities

Financial statement preparation - consolidated and division (US GAAP / IFRS)

Financial audit report preparation

Budgeting and forecasting

Manage Corporate Tax compliance / reporting

Manage cash flow projections, banking relations and treasury operations

Oversee fixed assets / capital expenditures

Controls and compliance

Staff supervision

The Impact You Will Make

+ Global Financial Stewardship:
Lead the consolidation of multi-entity financial statements, navigating the complexities of foreign currency translations and intercompany eliminations across international borders.

+ Strategic Tax Oversight:
Direct a high-volume tax function, managing multi-state nexus and income tax filings for both US and Canadian entities.

+ Treasury & Liquidity:
Act as a key advisor on corporate cash flow projections, managing banking relationships and treasury operations to ensure operational agility.

+ Systems & Integration:
Drive the modernization of the finance function, playing a lead role in ERP enhancements and the integration of potential new acquisitions.

+ Compliance Architecture:
Build and refine the internal control framework, ensuring the organization is "audit-ready" while maintaining rigorous policy documentation for fixed assets and CAPEX.

+ Team Leadership:
Provide mentorship and high-level review for the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy and professional development.

Requirements

Accounting Manager / Senior Accounting Manager experience within manufacturing / distribution industry

CPA - ideal, not must have

Strong staff supervision experience

Fast paced and process improvements / controls / efficiencies

Advanced Excel

Analytical - budgeting forecasting

Professionally driven
