Quality Engineer​/CMM Programmer

Key Responsibilities

• Program, operate, and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), preferably using PC‑DMIS software. 3‑5 new programs a week.
• Perform first‑article, in‑process, and final inspections on precision machined parts.
• Interpret GD&T, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.
• Create and maintain detailed inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Troubleshoot and optimize CMM programs for accuracy and efficiency.
• Support calibration and verification of measurement equipment.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CMM programming and operation.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Experience with precision machining is a plus.
• Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

This is a Permanent position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 – $90000.00/yr.
