Overview
Labelink is seeking a skilled Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at our Elk Grove Village facility. This role serves as a vital link between our customers and the company by understanding customer needs and ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses. The Customer Service team coordinates orders from data entry through scheduling, pre-press, and shipping to ensure seamless execution and on-time delivery.

- Answer incoming phone calls and route them to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Receive and respond to questions and concerns from internal and external customers, providing timely solutions.
- Support sales representatives with product information, order status, and general inquiries.
- Provide sales representatives with updated customer-related information and issue resolution.
- Meet regularly with the Plant Manager to plan and schedule orders and discuss potential delivery risks.
- Enter customer orders accurately into Label Traxx.
- Review customer purchase orders and cross-reference with estimates to ensure pricing and components are correct.
- Follow up with the Planner/Buyer to confirm material and component availability to meet delivery timelines.
- Review open backorders weekly to ensure orders are progressing through production.
- Track orders to ensure on-time delivery and proactively resolve potential issues before they impact shipments.
- Initiate customer requests for Certificates of Conformance (C of
C) and notify applicable personnel through Label Traxx notes. - Check inventory and finished goods availability in the warehouse system.
- Initiate cross-functional meetings when necessary to address order or production concerns.
- Comply with standard operating procedures for Customer Service.
- Perform shipping-related duties, including booking trucks, arranging deliveries, and coordinating Fed Ex and UPS shipments.
- Complete additional operations-related tasks as assigned.
- Pleasant and professional telephone manner.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
