Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Director

Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment as an experienced RN for an urgent contract opportunity in Elk City, OK. This pivotal role in labor and delivery leadership offers a rewarding chance to utilize your expertise in a dynamic acute care setting. As a Director, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional maternal care while enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive support.

Pay Package:
$43 per hour plus a $1,200 weekly stipend, with a 13-week contract.

Required Skills:

• Current and valid Oklahoma or compact state RN license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a staff RN
• At least 2 years of experience in a Director role in labor and delivery
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Strong leadership and clinical skills in maternal and newborn care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Extensive experience in acute care settings
• Proven leadership in labor and delivery units

Other Requirements:

• Must pass a criminal record check as mandated by state law
• Availability for 8-hour day shifts
• Travel and housing stipends provided
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, acute care environment
