- TB skin test:
Must have a test or provide proof of one within the past year. - Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
- Must have valid driver's license for the last 3consecutiveyears with no major infractions
- High school diploma or G.E.D. with equivalent experience in a related field.
Position Summary:
Transportclients to and from substance abuse treatment from other facilities. Perform light maintenance duties in the repair and routine maintenance of facilities,buildings,and equipment under general supervision.
Skill Sets:
Shouldbe able to follow oral or written instructions. Demonstrate good oral and written communications. Ability toestablishand maintain cooperative working relationships. Must be able to pass the agency driver’s test.
Physical and Environmental Demands:
Visual acuity and manual dexterity are needed for required paperwork. Frequent talking and hearing are required when communicating with co-workers, families, and other service providers. Physical demands are moderate with prolonged sitting, walking up and down stairs, walking moderate distances between the vehicle and the client destination, standing, bending, lifting packages, and able to physically perform CPR/First Aid.
Job Responsibilities:
- Able to provide quality customer service to personnel, clients, families, and stakeholders.
- Helps maintain the health, safety and welfare of personnel, clients, and stakeholders.
- Transport clients and/or packages to and from destinations
- Arrive at destinations on schedule
- Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups
- Adhere to all safety precautions described in the Driver’s Acknowledgement form.
- Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays
- Use navigation applications to determine the best route
- Always interact with clients professionally
- Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use
- Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed
- Keep mileage records and repair records up to date
- Must meet the physical requirements to perform CPR/First Aid.
