Bluegrass Network is seeking a motivated, results‑driven Sales Representative to sell high‑capacity, fiber‑based connectivity solutions to commercial customers. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and building long‑term relationships with business clients that require reliable, scalable internet and network services.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect, develop, and close new sales opportunities for fiber‑based services, including:
- Dedicated Internet Access (DIA)
- Ethernet / Metro Ethernet
- Point‑to‑Point and Point‑to‑Multipoint fiber circuits
- Additional business connectivity solutions offered by Bluegrass Network
- Conduct outbound sales activities such as cold calling, networking, and in‑person visits.
- Qualify leads and assess customer needs to recommend appropriate connectivity solutions.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial contact through contract execution.
- Collaborate with engineering, provisioning, and operations teams to ensure accurate quoting and smooth service delivery.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to business decision‑makers.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
- Stay current on product offerings, pricing, and competitive market trends.
- Represent Bluegrass Network professionally at industry events, trade shows, and community functions.
- Proven experience in B2B sales; telecommunications, fiber, or technology services experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of fiber connectivity solutions and business networking concepts (or willingness to learn).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with business owners, IT managers, and executive leadership.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and results‑oriented.
- Comfortable working independently and managing a sales territory.
- Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the service area.
- Experience selling fiber circuits, Ethernet, or dedicated internet services.
- Existing relationships within the regional business community.
- Knowledge of telecom terminology, SLAs, and bandwidth requirements.
- Competitive base salary plus commission.
