Customer Service Representatives provide a friendly, quick, and safe atmosphere for customers and employees. They conduct sales transactions, keep the store stocked, and maintain cleanliness.

• Provide customer service by greeting, thanking, making eye contact, and engaging with customers.
• Complete fast‑paced, accurate sales transactions on a register, and account for any mistakes such as voids or misprints.
• Prepare quality food using equipment (fryers, ovens, slicers, etc.) according to Five Star guidelines and food safety standards.
• Maintain PAR levels in the deli (cold and hot).
• Promote Five Star specials by informing customers and suggesting sells during each transaction.
• Clean and merchandise sales areas (deli, sales floor, cooler) to keep products visually appealing.
• Clean floors, restrooms, parking lots, and other areas around the store.
• Practice safe working habits in accordance with company safety rules.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal laws.
• Follow all company policies as outlined in the Five Star employee handbook.

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to multi‑task to meet customer needs.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Team player, honest, hardworking, excellent attendance.
• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Daily standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, climbing, walking, lifting up to 55 lb, and working in cold indoor environments 35 °F or less.
• Ability to work in varying seasonal weather conditions.
