Travel RN – Emergency Department / ER Holding (Critical Care Level) – Day Shift
We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to support a high-acuity ER / ER Holding unit caring for critically ill patients requiring ICU-level interventions.
Shift & Schedule- Day Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts
- Hours: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:1 – 1:2
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent ER experience
- Strong, hands-on experience with IABP and CRRT is REQUIRED
- Experience caring for patients with multi-system organ dysfunction or failure
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS (ER only)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Candidates must be proficient in:
- Advanced airway management
- Care of ventilated patients
- Arterial line (Art line) management (preferred for ER)
- Central line management
- CRRT management
- IABP management
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- ABG interpretation
- Continuous IV sedation
- Titration of IV vasopressors and critical drips
- Isolation precautions
- ER triage skills (ER / ER Holding only)
- Computerized documentation
