Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position with required night shifts and expertise in dysrhythmia management.
Responsibilities- Position is on the Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 19:00-07:00
- Nurse to patient ratios are typically 1:3-4
- Care includes interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, O2 and airway protocol, and management of drips
- Responsibilities include peripheral and central line care, blood product administration, and activation of rapid response team
- Isolation precautions and PPE are required
- Utilizes computerized documentation
- Must submit two references for consideration
- Peripheral and central line care management is a routine responsibility
- Night shift coverage is mandatory
- Experienced in non-invasive airway management and O2 protocol is desirable
- Active KY or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications needed prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience required
- Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias necessary
- Previous experience with computerized documentation required
