**** Registered Nurse - Endoscopy Pre-Op/Post-Op
**** Full-Time 8:30a - 5p
**** On-call, late shifts, and holiday coverage required.
** The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
* Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care.
* Follows the professional standards of care.
* Applies evidence, professional standards, and best practice to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices.
* Demonstrates ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients.
** REQUIREMENTS:
*** Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
* Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
* Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

* PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

*** Recent experience in specialty preferred.
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
