We are currently seeking a Shift Supervisor with the below qualifications:

This shift is from 6:00pm-7:00am on a 3-2-2 rotating shift!

Professional Attributes
  • Manage time off requests and unexpected no-show situations
  • Document and communicate situations when disciplinary action is necessary (tardiness, time theft, safety violations etc.)
  • Set performance goals for individual Team Members and teams each shift
  • Ensure goals are met through collection of daily production planning and production results
  • Participate in weekly management meetings to discuss goals, progress, and any issues in need of resolution
  • Maintain a work environment that encourages compliance with safety laws and adhere to the Company’s quality policy and objectives
  • Assist other team members with preventative maintenance, setup and process as required
  • Act as an advocate for Continuous Improvement, making suggestions on how to improve processes through resource allocations
  • Responsible for all floor activities when Managers are not on duty
  • Provide feedback to managers on Team Member performance and training needs
  • Act as a mentor, coach, and trainer for new and existing Team Members
  • Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Associate Degree or Technical Degree preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with experience directing a team
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience required
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Drive to succeed, motivation and positive attitude
  • Ability to meet deadlines and ensure goals are achieved
  • Detail oriented
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Must be able to climb ladders
  • Must be able to lift 55-60 lbs. at continuous intervals throughout the day
  • Must be able to pull finished products and 350 lbs. gaylords of material
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to operate necessary equipment to do the job
  • Requires frequent bending, squatting and twisting motions
