We are currently seeking a Shift Supervisor with the below qualifications:
This shift is from 6:00pm-7:00am on a 3-2-2 rotating shift!
Professional Attributes- Manage time off requests and unexpected no-show situations
- Document and communicate situations when disciplinary action is necessary (tardiness, time theft, safety violations etc.)
- Set performance goals for individual Team Members and teams each shift
- Ensure goals are met through collection of daily production planning and production results
- Participate in weekly management meetings to discuss goals, progress, and any issues in need of resolution
- Maintain a work environment that encourages compliance with safety laws and adhere to the Company’s quality policy and objectives
- Assist other team members with preventative maintenance, setup and process as required
- Act as an advocate for Continuous Improvement, making suggestions on how to improve processes through resource allocations
- Responsible for all floor activities when Managers are not on duty
- Provide feedback to managers on Team Member performance and training needs
- Act as a mentor, coach, and trainer for new and existing Team Members
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Associate Degree or Technical Degree preferred
- Strong leadership skills with experience directing a team
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience required
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
- Drive to succeed, motivation and positive attitude
- Ability to meet deadlines and ensure goals are achieved
- Detail oriented
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
- High degree of professionalism
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to lift 55-60 lbs. at continuous intervals throughout the day
- Must be able to pull finished products and 350 lbs. gaylords of material
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to operate necessary equipment to do the job
- Requires frequent bending, squatting and twisting motions
- Salary: $63,000.00/annual (Based on education and experience)
