Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and a valid KY license for a day shift opportunity.
Responsibilities- Position is based in a hospital nuclear medicine department
- Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, five days per week
- Call rotation required every fourth week, beginning Monday afternoon and ending the following Monday at 6:00 AM
- Equipment includes GE, Philips, and Siemens systems
- Travelers may be asked to float to different units as needed
- First-time travelers are accepted for this role
- Return staff must wait 2 years before reapplying for a travel position
- Candidate is required to schedule lab tests within 2 days of signing and complete appointments within 2 weeks
- Modules are assigned during orientation and annually, averaging 2 hours
- EPIC EMR system may be in use; requirements may vary by allied specialty
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Current Kentucky state license required; license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with GE, Philips, and Siemens nuclear medicine equipment
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Candidate must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler
