Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

• Participate in call rotation every fourth week (call begins Monday afternoon and ends the following Monday morning at 6:00 AM)

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• Must have BLS certification and Kentucky license

• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, ARRT (N), NMTCB

• Work with equipment including GE, Philips, and Siemens

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures including abdominal, ventricular, whole body, bone, brain, liver, and renal scans

• Conduct specialized procedures such as Sestamibi parathyroid scan, adenosine infusion, exercise/rest studies, and pharmacological stress testing

• Maintain skills in starting and maintaining IVs, phlebotomy, EKGs, and PACS systems

• Work in various departments including inpatient, outpatient, ED, ICU, CCU, and NICU

• Care for patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Pediatric experience preferred

• Must be more than 75 miles from facility to be eligible as traveler

• Two references required for submission
