Position Summary

The Head – Finance & Accounts will lead the financial management and strategic planning activities for APAR’s new manufacturing facility in the USA. This senior leadership role will oversee all aspects of accounting, financial planning, budgeting, fund management, internal controls, audit compliance, and stakeholder communication to ensure financial health and transparency of the operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning & Reporting:
    Oversee financial forecasting, cash flow projections, profitability analysis, and preparation of P&L and balance sheets; present regular financial performance reports to executive leadership.
  • Financial Compliance & Audit:
    Ensure adherence to all U.S. financial regulations, facilitate statutory audits, and manage taxation and corporate reporting.
  • Budget & Cost Management:
    Develop detailed budgets for plant development and operations; monitor expenditure against budgets and report variances with corrective actions.
  • Banking & Treasury Management:
    Manage banking relationships, cash flow, and working capital, including receivables, payables, and inventory oversight.
  • Risk & Policy Management:
    Identify financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement robust internal controls and policies to uphold accountability and transparency.
  • Contract & Vendor Compliance:
    Oversee financial compliance in vendor contracts, insurance, and legal frameworks.
  • Post-Implementation Analysis:
    Conduct post-project financial reviews to benchmark performance, identify lessons learned, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Present clear financial insights to internal and external stakeholders, supporting informed business decision-making.
Competency Profile Knowledge
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and compliance regulations in the U.S.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounts functions, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry.
  • Strong command of U.S. GAAP and regulatory frameworks.
  • Expertise in SAP and advanced MS Excel.
  • Proven experience leading finance teams and cross-functional collaborations.
