Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you possess relevant experience in this field, bring your skills to our fast‑paced and welcoming work environment. As a technician, you will support and oversee repair within Walmart’s facilities refrigeration and HVAC equipment team and assets, utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and tools to complete jobs.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and tools.
• Utilize the work‑order management system to receive repair work orders for store and store associate support and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training and certifications to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart’s refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical HVAC/R program.
• Mechanical license in the city and/or state where the job is located.

• Individual compensation packages are based on factors such as skill set, experience, job level, qualifications, and other job‑related factors.
• Eligible for bonus incentives.
• Hourly wage range: $23.00‑$45.00. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
