Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end‑to‑end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving, storing, processing and dispatching cargo, so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – 10:00 pm to 6:00 am night shift
Saturday and Sunday – 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
Off Thursday and Friday
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse, or yard by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain adequate records of inventory adjustments – cycles, physicals and catch weight audits performed
- Assist with Inventory Control, maintain inventory accuracy, and maintain supply areas
- Maintain computerized records of inventory
- Perform cycle counts, investigate variances, adjust inventory records as required
- Review inbound appointment log and open order report each day to plan work activities
- Plan inbound and outbound schedules accordingly to meet customer metrics
- Determine staffing needs based on workload and schedule staff accordingly
- Assign workers to specific duties based on workload and shipping schedules
- Review and update operational procedures as necessary and ensure they are communicated to and understood by the warehouse associates
- Track productivity and qualify performance by individual, function, and department
- Work with Inventory Control to ensure the highest level of inventory accuracy possible
- Manage payroll of department
- Advise employees on handling of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems
- Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies and recommend remedial actions
- Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow
- Issue written and oral instructions
- Ensure that proper safety procedures are followed
- Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances
- Position is full‑time and on‑site
Directly supervises 20+ employees in Operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

$55,000–$60,000.00
* The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
