Java Software Developer

Beacon Fire Inc. is a Central NJ-based tech consulting firm specializing in Software Development, Web Development, and Business Intelligence. We’re looking for passionate and motivated individuals with a strong background in Computer Science or Software Engineering to join our team as Java Full Stack Developers.

As a Java Full Stack Developer, you’ll be part of a collaborative team building secure, scalable, and high-performance applications using Java, Spring, Angular, React, and other modern technologies. You'll gain real-world development experience while working on enterprise-level projects.

• Develop full-stack applications using Java 8+/JEE, Spring, Angular 2+, React.js, Type Script , HTML5, and CSS.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Create, deploy, and maintain automated system tests.
• Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve defects efficiently.
• Support continuous improvement through research and implementation of new technologies.
• Work within agile teams to meet sprint goals and deliver user stories.
• Solid understanding of OOP principles and data structures (Collections, Maps, Lists, Sets, etc.).
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle.
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 0–1 year of practical experience in Java development.
• Experience with Spring, Maven, Angular, HTML/CSS.
• Familiarity with tools and servers like Tomcat, RabbitMQ, Web Logic.
• Knowledge of JSP, J2EE, and JDBC is a plus.
