The primary purpose of the position is performing research activities focused on developing effective pt based catalytic system and understanding science for hydrogen production under the supervision of the PI.

Knowledge of Nanomaterials, Nanocatalysts, Characterization, and Electrochemistry. The candidate must have a strong publication record in the field.

Strong experience in electrochemistry, electro-catalysts, electrochemical product analysis (gas chromatography, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy), in‑situ Raman spectroscopy, Differential electrochemical mass spectroscopy (DEMS) and materials multi‑scale characterization.

The position requires strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with faculty and students; strong technical and analytical skills; the ability to write technical reports; and effective organizational skills and customer service skills necessary for a research‑oriented environment.

PH.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or related field. 0–5 years of relevant experience in materials and nanomaterial research.
