Wrapper/Utility Worker

Compensation Includes

• Starting Pay Rate of $19.89/hour

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently perform the following tasks:

• Sweep aisles where machines are not in operation and your immediate work area
• Ensure bales are completely sealed and adhere to the baling quality policy following all production order instructions
• Palletize all bales of bags properly placing all labels in the required position following the quality procedure
• Properly strap bales of bags which need to be multi‑paks in accordance with the production order requirements
• Use slip sheets for pallets requiring them in accordance with the quality standard
• Clean up all straps on the production floor
• Clean all spills in the baling production area
• Keep all clutter off the production floor
• Assure that the printing on the bales are meeting the quality standards
• Change strapping on strappers when needed
• Meet/achieve safety, quality, production waste and housekeeping goals set forth by management
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and management
• Must have good eyesight (no colorblindness) to spot flaws in color comparison, print set‑up, etc. as bags or film come off the production line
• Able to properly use basic wrenches and tools
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs
