Overview
Bilingual Behavioral Assistant (Union County) at Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare. We are looking for Part Time Bilingual Behavioral Assistants (BA’s) to join our team.
Base pay range$20.00/hr - $25.00/hr
Roles & Responsibilities- A BA will visit the client at home or in the community to provide relief to caregivers and holistic support to youth.
- Work 2–20 hours weekly in 2–4 hour shifts, typically after 3:00pm during the school year and as early as 8:30am during the summer. Services are available any day of the week to accommodate scheduling needs.
- Develop and implement Individual Support Plans and monitor behavioral analysis services.
- Submit weekly clinical progress notes within 24 hours of service provision; complete intake data assessments.
- Collect and display data (e.g., graphics) as authorized by a recipient s service plan.
- Ensure compliance with service authorization, time frames, and service hours.
- Implement interventions in the Individual Support Plan and behavioral procedures for skill acquisition and reduction of problematic behaviors.
- Carry out treatment as designated by the supervising behavior analyst, including environmental arrangements, proactive strategies, and teaching new skills.
- Manage consequences for behavior based on function and support ADL skills within home and community settings.
- Assist parents/guardians in implementing the treatment plan and training caregivers/staff as needed.
- Provide crisis prevention, recognition, and intervention; ensure adherence to agency policies.
- Participate in required training.
- Must have completed the free CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification course or be able to complete within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor’s Degree in psychology or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in behavioral healthcare (maladaptive behaviors).
- 2–4 years of experience working with children with disabilities (developmental/intellectual disabilities, mental illness).
- Valid NJ Driver’s license and proof of car insurance.
- Consent to and pass State/Federal Criminal Background Checks.
- Bilingual required.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Starting rate: $20.00/hour
