Job SummaryAs a Bilingual Behavioral Technician, you will support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in‑home, in‑community, and in‑center. Typical hours are 5–20 per week, with 2–4 hour shifts scheduled mainly in the evenings. Services focus on hands‑off emotional support and engagement to promote client alertness and wellbeing.
Roles & Responsibilities- Provide non‑physical, emotional, and behavioral support to children and families.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the client.
- Implement strategies outlined in each child’s Individual Support Plan.
- Conduct functional assessments, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Use redirection strategies to manage behavioral concerns.
- Submit visit notes promptly in accordance with organizational and compliance guidelines.
- Respond to crises using de‑escalation and safety strategies.
- Engage clients in interest‑based activities to support growth and awareness.
- Attend case reviews, team meetings, and required trainings.
- Follow all agency protocols, procedures, and professional guidelines.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field preferred.
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience working with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferably children.
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire.
- Must be working toward receiving Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire.
- Strong initiative to check emails for admin communications.
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance.
- Must pass all state and federal background checks.
- Bilingual (Spanish‑speaking) candidates encouraged to apply.

We offer a $300 sign‑on bonus to new Bilingual Behavioral Technicians who join our Union County team.
- $150 issued after 45 days of active case assignment.
- $150 issued after an additional 60 days.
- Must meet all eligibility criteria throughout the bonus period.
- Complete all onboarding and orientation requirements.
- Maintain a minimum weekly caseload of 2–3 assigned clients.
- Remain actively engaged and attend all scheduled sessions.
- Maintain good standing throughout the bonus period.
- Consistently meet performance expectations and documentation deadlines.
- No active Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) or disciplinary actions.
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors and families.
- Comply with all attendance policies and case responsibilities.
