Licensed Social Worker (LSW) – Training & Employee Support
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to lead training initiatives and provide ongoing support to employees working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is pivotal in enhancing staff competencies, promoting well‑being, and ensuring high‑quality service delivery to the individuals we support.
- Facilitate workshops on trauma‑informed care, crisis intervention, cultural competency, and ethical practice.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and update materials based on feedback and emerging best practices.
- Provide individual and group support to employees managing complex situations or experiencing burnout.
- Serve as a resource for navigating professional boundaries.
- Collaborate with HR and program managers to identify training needs and develop tailored learning plans.
- Maintain records of training participation and employee support interactions.
- Assist in developing policies and procedures that promote staff wellness and professional growth.
- Monitor service delivery standards and provide feedback to staff and supervisors.
- Participate in audits, evaluations, and improvement initiatives to enhance program outcomes.
- Active LSW license in NJ.
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in social services, preferably with a focus on training or supervision.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and trauma‑informed practices.
