Techno is seeking a Deputy Design Manager to shape the technical direction of major infrastructure programs, mentor and develop junior engineers, and collaborate on projects having a lasting impact on regional mobility and public safety. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in transit systems, with a particular focus on tunnel and underground rail environments. This is a leadership role that will provide strategic and technical direction across multiple systems disciplines.

• Support the overall management and execution of a major infrastructure project or program.
• Assist in coordinating design efforts across multidisciplinary teams to deliver critical transportation improvements.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure design processes align with project goals, timelines, and quality standards.

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a closely related field.
• Prior experience in Design/Build project delivery.
• Demonstrated expertise in roadway or bridge design.
• Proven track record of leading and coordinating multidisciplinary teams on complex, high-visibility projects.

The expected salary range for this role in the New York City Metropolitan Area is $60 - $110 per hour. The total compensation, including salary and bonuses, is determined by various factors such as experience, skill level, location, and qualifications, which are evaluated during the interview process.
