Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $91,000.00 per year
Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within the healthcare facility to ensure safe, reliable, code-compliant, and uninterrupted operations.
- Provide hands-on leadership across facility management disciplines including HVAC, electrical and power generation, refrigeration, plumbing, building infrastructure and envelope, and equipment/grounds maintenance.
- Report to the Assistant Director of Plant Operations and assist in all aspects of large-scale plant operations initiatives and daily progress toward goals and key metrics.
- Coordinate maintenance programs for the medical center and off-site facilities.
- Participate in regular Environment of Care rounding to identify needed repairs or improvements.
- Support construction or renovation efforts and ensure proper ICRA and ILSM standards are followed.
- Prepare for and participate in regulatory inspections, maintaining required records and documentation.
- Assist in administering preventative maintenance programs and help prioritize work schedules and repairs.
- Review expenditures for equipment repairs and supplies; monitor operating and capital budgets.
- Experience supporting the maintenance and operation of major building systems such as HVAC, electrical and power generation, refrigeration, plumbing, building infrastructure and envelope, and equipment/grounds maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Engineering, or a related field preferred; 2+ years of related experience.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for DNV, DOH, DCA, Municipal Building and Fire Departments is strongly desired.
- Experience coordinating preventative maintenance programs and working within a healthcare or hospital plant operations setting is highly preferred.
- Previous plant operations experience within a healthcare/hospital setting is strongly preferred.
