Adjunct-Music (Guitar Instructor)

ResponsibilityTo provide applied lessons in guitar performance. Other duties include maintenance and supervision of the In‑House Recording Studio and supervision of students in the recording studio.
Qualifications18 hours of instruction on the graduate level in Guitar Performance (required). M.M. in Guitar – Guitar performance or Jazz Studies in Guitar with experience teaching guitar at college level (preferred). Evidence of experience within the music industry and the ability to teach music industry and/or music technology courses is required. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies.
Must be committed to excellence in student learning and the ability to promote students’ ability to succeed in a multicultural and global community.
