East Coast Warehouse & Distribution is seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Warehouse Sales to lead revenue growth across our temperature-controlled and port-based warehousing operations. This executive will drive new business development, expand strategic customer relationships, and build a high-performing sales team across key verticals including alcoholic beverage, food & beverage, healthcare, and plastics/resins. The ideal candidate has deep experience in 3PL warehousing sales, strong port-market knowledge (NJ/NY preferred), and a proven ability to close complex, high-value logistics contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow warehouse revenue across all markets.
  • Drive new business acquisition in key verticals: alcoholic beverage, food, healthcare, plastics/resins.
  • Expand relationships with existing customers.
  • Identify high-margin opportunities in value-added services (cross-docking, storage optimization, port logistics integration).
  • Maintain executive-level relationships with key customers.
  • Represent ECW at industry events, trade associations, and port logistics forums.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and adjust strategy accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Operations, Finance, and Transportation leadership to ensure pricing accuracy and service alignment.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and RFP responses.
  • Ensure smooth transition from sale to implementation.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in 3PL warehousing or contract logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of temperature-controlled warehousing preferred.
  • Experience selling into alcoholic beverage, food, or healthcare sectors highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of port-based logistics markets.
