Accounting Clerk

A growing national home improvement manufacturer and installer is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper to support their accounting team during a key transition period.

This position will start as a 1-month contract with potential to convert to full-time employment
, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager

• Process and reconcile a high volume of customer payments and daily reports
• Investigate discrepancies between reports and deposits
• Prepare and import journal entries into the ERP system
• Support Accounts Receivable operations and general accounting tasks
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting and month-end close activities
• Collaborate with the Controller and Accounting Manager to ensure timely, accurate financial data

• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable or general accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills (comfortable with formulas, sorting, and pivot tables)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in finding solutions
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook / Office Suite
• ERP system experience preferred
• Degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but not required
