Store Sales Associate Citi Trends

Join us as a Store Sales Associate at Citi Trends, one of the largest chains in the value‑priced urban apparel industry. We are growing and looking for a dedicated team member to help lead the way.

• Process freight and assist with price changes/markdowns.
• Balance the register according to company policy.
• Call out prices while ringing transactions.
• Bag merchandise efficiently upon completing a customer's transaction.
• Handle all cash, checks, and credit cards correctly in accordance with company policy.
• Obtain management approval for returns, voids, and checks as needed.
• Complete maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Deliver proper customer service: greet customers, adhere to fitting‑room policies, ring customers in a timely manner, thank customers for shopping, and invite them to return.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag.
• Assist management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels.
• Assist management with any tasks requested per company policy.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Assist the Store Manager with loss‑prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents of theft or dishonesty, and following all current operational policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
